It is the systematic step-by-step unfolding of awareness without neglecting weak areas or catering to strong ones. This approach, called vinyasa, means sequential. It implies intelligent, balanced evolution, and it produces remarkable strength, flexibility, and clearness of mind. A Mysore style class is the traditional way to learn Yoga. Students work at their own pace with a teacher. This is ideal for everyone from brand new beginners to dedicated students. *Choose a start time that works for you within the schedule class times. *Beginners allow for 30 - 60 minutes *There is no set start time, when you arrive your practice begins. *Visiting students with an existing Ashtanga practice are welcome to drop in. *Students of all levels will be supported and challenged. Mysore style classes are named after the city of Mysore in India. This is where Shri K. Pattabhi Jois lived and taught until 2009.
