This gentle yoga class will assist in developing the mind/body connection focusing on the subtle body while connecting movement and breath. Starting with gentle movements on the floor, moving to standing poses and back to the floor for restorative yoga poses and savasana. A great way to relax and rejuvenate. (*Students may modify this practice with a chair)
Ashtanga - Mysore
This is truly for all levels! Each student will be taught a sequence of yoga poses, paced according to their own experience and goals. Students will be taught postures in the Ashtanga Primary Series, with assistance and guidance for students to modify and adjust or change the practice so that it works better for you and whatever is going on in your life. With consistency, you will see both internal and external changes. The Mysore class environment is one of openness and acceptance offering all students a peaceful space to practice yoga. Practices include postures, chanting, meditation and pranayama.
Level 1-2 Vinyasa
This yoga class will teach basic yoga postures, breathing and meditation. Students will be offered modifications as well as an opportunity to explore advanced stages of the asanas. This class is built around the connective vinyasas of the sun salutations moving at a moderate pace with the breath and focusing on strength and alignment.
This class is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Most of the poses are on the floor supported by props allowing the body to slowly stretch and release. Drop into complete relaxation and a deep stretch. A great way to rest sore and tired muscles and reduce stress.
Ashtanga - Led Primary
A dynamic sequence to help you build stamina and strength as well as flexibility. Each class begins with sun salutations and standing poses followed by seated postures, backbends and inversions all linked with a connective vinyasa to keep the body moving.
Individual instruction designed just for you! Private yoga lessons offer students the ability to focus on personal interests, concerns or goals. Instead of following along with the yoga instructor in a class setting, a private lesson allows an individual to set specific goals or areas of focus, such as personal goals for flexibility, strength or meditation.
